VACANCY AS SALES MANAGER RUBBER & ADHESIVE (M/F/D 100%) IN ITALY
The Dolder Group has been an internationally active raw materials distributor offering services since 1898. Our family-owned company supplies chemical and polymer raw materials to the processing industry. Our headquarters are in Basel, and we also operate branches in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Turkey.
For our Italian subsidiary Dolder Massara Srl, we are looking for a Sales Manager Rubber & Adhesives to strengthen and further develop our elastomers, adhesives and TPC business in Italy.
In this role, you combine technical expertise with commercial drive and entrepreneurial responsibility to consolidate existing business, expand our customer portfolio, and actively contribute to the profitable growth of the business unit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Market and sell our rubber, adhesives and TPC raw materials portfolio in Italy
- Develop and maintain profitable relationships with Italian customers and international suppliers
- Identify and develop new customers through structured scouting, visits, testing and sampling
- Provide technical application support, including troubleshooting and formula/process improvement
- Manage complex commercial negotiations and pricing strategies
- Handle technical claims and non-conformities in close collaboration with internal departments
- Draft the annual budget and achieve agreed business targets
- Maintain CRM data, manage pipeline and forecasting activities
- Travel frequently throughout Italy and occasionally abroad
- Technical background (chemistry, materials science, laboratory, quality, R&D or similar) and/or experience in rubber, adhesives, elastomers, specialty chemicals or related sectors (e.g. coatings, plastics, construction)
- Experience in technical B2B sales (junior or senior profiles considered)
- Strong ability to translate technical data into application and commercial benefits
- Structured opportunity management and result-driven mindset
- Experience in negotiation and margin analysis is a plus
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems (knowledge of BC software is an advantage)
- An entrepreneurial, proactive, and ambitious mindset, with a strong motivation to take on challenges
- Fluent in English and Italian
