BUILDS THE BRIDGE FROM COPOLYESTER TO POLYCARBONATE
EASTMAN TRITAN™ is the result of unique chemistry based on a new commercial monomer. With its unique formulation, TRITAN™ builds the bridge between copolyester and polycarbonate. We would be glad to advise you about the many possibilities. What are your requirements?
TRITAN™ FOR PACKAGING
TRITAN™ will win you over thanks to its greater dimensional stability under heat than a standard copolyester and its better chemical resistance as a polycarbonate. At the same time, TRITAN™ is exceptionally transparent, featuring high gloss and low opacity. This allows the creation of attractive products with a longer life span.
YOUR ADVANTAGES
Due to its FDA approval, TRITAN™ is suitable for use in kitchen and household applications. The material resists harsh conditions in the dishwasher and is bisphenol-A (BPA)-free.
Thanks to its good stabilization capacity the available approvals such as USP Cl. VI, ISO 10993, and the Drug Master File (US-DMF 24483), there are no limits on its use in the medical sector.

EASTAR™, DURASTAR™, EASTALLOY™, PROVISTA™ are copolyesters, ECDEL™ a copolyester elastomer. What they have in common is the unique combination of several product qualities.
