GAIA BIODOLOMER®
LOOKS LIKE PLASTICS BUT IS BEYOND PLASTICS
Imagine a material that feels, works and looks like plastic, but can do so much more. A material that decomposes naturally, leaves no microplastics behind and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80%. GAIA BIOMATERIALS has developed this revolutionary material called BIODOLOMER®, which can transform your business.
GAIA BIODOLOMER® is a material that offers most of the qualities of plastic – but not the disadvantages. It can be used for bags, jars, golf pegs, fishing nets, bottles, food trays, coffee cups – you name it.

DECOMPOSES LIKE CARROTS
BIODOLOMER® has a limited lifespan and decomposes after a certain period of time – this can already be determined during the manufacturing process. A practical example: plant pots made of BIODOLOMER® do not need to be removed when the plants are transplanted – they simply disintegrate. Since one of the main components is lime (CaCO3), a disintegrated container even helps to improve soil quality.
KEEPS THE WATER FREE FROM MICROPLASTICS
There are vast amounts of microplastics in the world’s oceans, posing a danger to humans and animals. Fishing nets made of BIODOLOMER® are biodegradable and never become ghost nets.
