RONDO PLAST PRODUCES RECYCLED PLASTICS FOR VOLVO – AND SOON FOR YOU, TOO?
Rondo Plast supports Volvo Cars’ goal to increase the amount plastic in their vehicles from sustainable material. The demo vehicle is an example of Volvo’s commitment to be the most progressive of all premium car manufacturers.

VOLVO'S PROJECT
The car is based on the existing XC60 model. Plastic parts weighing about 60 kg are replaced by recycled plastic in this project. As compounder, Rondo Plast was involved from the very beginning of the development.
RONDO'S MATERIAL
The recycled materials come from both industrial and consumer waste and are used in the air ducts, the center console behind the radio and the display, as well as the wheel wells and the load floor supporting structure. The Rondo material is often used in load-bearing and technical components covered with a surface material.
