TPE FOR DRINKING WATER APPLICATIONS

MONPRENE® RG-14000 compounds, a new range of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), meet the strict German regulations for drinking water applications and are suitable for many different components that come into direct or indirect contact with drinking water.

The new TPE materials are ideally suited for flexible or elastic components in residential construction and commercial/industrial building services engineering. Examples are shower heads, pipe seals, membranes, valves, pipe fittings and connectors as well as hoses. They can be processed by extrusion and injection molding, and multi-component composites with polyolefin substrates can also be realized.
