The off-color and whitespath qualities produced are used in a wide variety of applications, with paints & coatings, soundproofing (construction/automotive), adhesives & sealants, and brake and clutch linings being just a few examples. In certain areas there is also the possibility of substituting synthetic barium sulfates (Blanc Fixe), as described in this newsletter, or the partial substitution of titanium dioxide.
