LONG FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOUNDS
Long-fiber reinforced thermoplastics (LFT) offer better mechanical properties than compounds with short fibers. Their high ratio of stability to weight and their very low tendency to creep produce parts that can withstand high loads across a long time, even at extreme temperatures. In comparison to metals, these compounds help to reduce manufacturing costs and increase output.
CONDUCTIVE & ANTI-STATIC THERMOPLASTIC COMPOUNDS
RTP’s thermoplastics are engineered with a range of standard and all-polymeric fillers to deliver permanent anti-static performance and/or electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
FLAME RETARDANT OR FIRE-RESISTANT THERMOPLASTIC COMPOUNDS
RTP products support compliance with UL 94 and other flammability standards, offering both halogenated and non-halogenated compounds. These materials can also provide additional properties such as electrical conductivity, wear resistance, and structural reinforcement.
WEAR AND FRICTION RESISTANT THERMOPLASTIC COMPOUNDS
These internally lubricated thermoplastics reduce the coefficient of friction and extend component lifespan by minimizing volumetric material loss. By eliminating the need for external lubricants, they help maintain cleaner mechanisms and improve long-term performance and reliability.
COLOR MASTER BATCHES
A development by RTP COMPANY – color master batches that are biocompatible according to ISO 10993-1 (part 5, 10, 11). The color palette includes 18 standard colors, suitable for use in medical and pharmaceutical products and applications.
